A sampler album typically features a selection of tracks from various artists or bands, often from the same record label or music genre, and is intended to showcase the diversity of the label's roster or the genre. On the other hand, a compilation album is a collection of tracks from different sources, such as various artists, different albums, or specific time periods, and is usually curated around a specific theme or concept. While both types of albums feature multiple artists and tracks, the main difference lies in the purpose and curation of the content. **

The decision between the Korg Electribe 2 Sampler and the regular version depends on your specific needs and preferences. If you are looking for a device that allows you to sample and manipulate audio, then the Electribe 2 Sampler would be the better choice. However, if you are more interested in creating music using the built-in sounds and patterns, then the regular Electribe 2 would be a suitable option.
