The age rating of a game does not necessarily determine its quality or content. Games rated 18+ may contain more mature themes, violence, or explicit content compared to those rated 16+, but this does not inherently make them "worse." The rating simply serves as a guideline for appropriate age groups based on the content of the game. Ultimately, the quality and enjoyment of a game are subjective and can vary based on individual preferences. **

Parents can allow their children to play games rated 18+ depending on their own judgment and the maturity level of their child. However, it is important for parents to be aware of the content in these games, which may include violence, strong language, and adult themes. It is recommended that parents discuss the content with their child and set boundaries or restrictions based on what they feel is appropriate for their child's age and maturity level. **

No, 12-year-olds should not play games rated 18+. These games are typically designed for mature audiences and may contain content that is not suitable for younger players, such as violence, strong language, and adult themes. Exposing children to such content at a young age can have negative effects on their development and may desensitize them to violence and other inappropriate material. It is important for parents to monitor and regulate the types of games their children are playing to ensure they are age-appropriate. **

Games with blood are typically rated 16+ because the presence of blood can contribute to a more realistic and intense gaming experience, which may not be suitable for younger audiences. The depiction of blood in games can also be associated with violence and mature themes, which are not appropriate for children. By assigning a 16+ rating to games with blood, it helps to ensure that the content is being consumed by a more mature and emotionally developed audience. **

Movies and games that are rated USK/FSK 18 in Germany are those that contain content deemed suitable only for adults. This includes extreme violence, strong language, and explicit sexual content. Examples of movies and games that are typically rated USK/FSK 18 include horror films with graphic violence, first-person shooter games with realistic depictions of war and violence, and adult-themed video games with explicit sexual content. These ratings are intended to ensure that only adults have access to such content. **

My top games are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I love the open-world exploration and puzzle-solving in Breath of the Wild, the creative platforming in Super Mario Odyssey, and the relaxing and customizable gameplay in Animal Crossing. These games offer a perfect mix of adventure, creativity, and relaxation that keep me coming back for more. **

Jackass is rated 18 due to its extreme and dangerous stunts, crude humor, and explicit language, which are not suitable for younger audiences. On the other hand, Bad Grandpa is rated 12 because it contains milder comedic content and less extreme stunts, making it more appropriate for a wider audience, including older children and teenagers. The ratings reflect the level of maturity and understanding required to watch and appreciate the content of each film. **

As a parent, it is important to consider the content of the games rated 18+ before allowing your son to play them. These games often contain mature themes, violence, and explicit content that may not be suitable for younger audiences. It is recommended to review the game's content and consider your son's maturity level before making a decision. Setting boundaries and discussing the reasons behind your decision with your son can help him understand and respect your rules. **
